Wage & Hour Rights and Responsibilities

Wage Payment: Employee rights include:- Pay for all earnings made (INFO # 3) at the rate concurred to by the company and employee.

– Pay of at least base pay (INFO # 1), the applicable Colorado or local base pay, and all made overtime earnings without impermissible deductions from their salaries;.

Labor Statutes, Rules, & Published Guidance

Statutes & Rules: DLSS implements a lot of Colorado’s wage and hour and other types of labor statutes and labor rules, consisting of the Colorado Wage Act, the Colorado Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards (” COMPS Order”), and the Equal Spend For Equal Work Act. Written Demands, employment Complaints, & Investigations

Demands & Complaints for Wages: If an employer owes you earnings, you can send your company a composed need for payment of salaries by mail, email, text, or other electronic methods. A written demand may be sent to the employer at the very same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for unsettled earnings is submitted with the Division.
